It's the 1930's.

Rocky Sullivan is scheduled to be executed and makes a phone call to her lawyer to put a plan in motion that could save her life.

She has a friend on the inside--one of the jailers. After she solidifies her plans, all she can do is wait. But, it was all for nothing. The jailer was an undercover and she is busted. Now, she is taken to the death watch cell where she waits to die.

Then, finally, it is time. After a swerves of stripping, checking her body, cuffing and uncuffing, she is in the chair and being strapped in. She anxiously awaits word from the governor. Sure she will get a pardon.

The phone rings. She is sure she is saved. A nod. A look. And the handle is pulled.

Rocky Sullivan fries in the electric chair. It takes 3 times, smoking hair and at one point, a small fire, before they finally decide she has had enough. They unstrap her smoldering body and lay it out on a white sheet for the observers, then wrap her up.
